Do I need a referral?
Referrals from medical and allied health professionals are always welcome and encouraged, however they are by no means necessary for your child to see a physiotherapist.
What is your fee schedule?
Please contact the office to discuss fees. Additional charges apply for travel.
What should I bring to an initial appointment?
Please bring any medical and allied health reports that you have, as well as any referrals or documentation relating to funding eg NDIS plan. It is also helpful for your child to wear appropriate clothing such as a T-shirt and shorts or bike pants.
Can I use a GP Management Plan to access physiotherapy?
A child with a chronic condition and complex care needs may be eligible for a rebate from Medicare for physiotherapy services if they are have a GP Management plan form their GP. This provides a $54.60 rebate per session (5 x sessions per calendar year). Services must be payed for in full and then the Medicare claim submitted to receive the rebate.

National Disability Insurace Scheme (NDIS)
The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) provides support for Australians with disability, their families and carers. The NDIS provides Australians with a permanent and significant disability with the reasonable and necessary supports they need to live an ordinary life.

Can I use private health insurance?
Private health insurance funds provide a rebate for physiotherapy services under some levels of cover. Please contact your health insurance fund to determine rebates for physiotherapy services. We are able to process private health insurance claims on the spot for most funds.
